You are temporarily in Berlin? Or you require a temporary furnished flat for any other reason? We have charming apartments to rent for periods starting from 2 months. We will subsequently outline the application and tenancy process.
If a listing appeals to you, you should – where possible – view the property.
If you want to rent a flat, we will require passport copies and proofs of income from all potential tenants. If possible, please also reference from current landlord and Schufa. We will screen the documents and forward these to the landlord.
If the landlord approves, the lease contract will be prepared. Usually, a fixed-term lease agreement will be completed, i.e. the tenancy will begin and end on a specific date. The contract must first be signed by yourself, followed be the landlord.
Deposit and first month’s rent
Once both parties have signed the contract, you will pay the deposit and first month’s rent into the landlord’s bank account. Due to the limited time period on the tenancy contract, it is usually required for the deposit and first month’s rent to go into the landlord’s bank account prior to handing over the flat/ keys. A cash payment is only accepted in certain cases, with prior consultation. Therefore please be sure to set up the payment in time.
Appointment for handing over the apartment
In this appointment the hand over protocol is written, the meter readings are taken and the inventory is checked. You will also receive all necessary and useful information about the flat.
During the tenancy
We hope you are satisfied with the apartment and wish you pleasant stay. If you have any questions, we will be happy to help where possible.
Appointment for returning the apartment
In the appointment the protocol will be written, the meter readings will be taken and the inventory will be checked.
